MARCH and APRIL 2018 Activities

Tu, Mar 6th-DIXIE POETS Lesson by Bonnie Anderson and critiques, (and April 3-Lesson by Karma Wasden) 2-4 pm  at Senior Citizen Center  245 North 200 West in St. George in Conference room upstairs. Newcomers always welcome. Donation-$1 for use of the room.

Th, Mar 15th (and Apr 19-not meeting ) REDROCK WRITERS poetry group will meet at Markay Brown’s home at 7 pm, email FIRST before coming <nadbmarb@gmail.com>  All welcome.

Tu, Mar 20th (and Apr 17th) from 2-4 pm DIXIE POETS at St. George Sr. Citizen Center. Critiques-bring 8-10 copies of 1-2 poems for helpful suggestions from the group.

Th, Mar 22nd (Apr 26th) at 7 pm POETRY JAM at St. George Art Museum 7 pm. Free.

Tues, Apr 3, 7-9 pm  SOUTHERN QUILL Benefit Reading and Silent Auction at Zion Room-5th Floor of Holland Bldg on DSU campus featuring local poet Darren Edwards and LA-based novelist Taylor Reid. Nevermind, a local band will be playing. The event is free and open to the public. Auction items include Brian Head ski lift tickets, artwork, gift cards, jewelry, and more! Fri, April 13 7 pm DANCE CONCERT based on local poet Candy Lish Fowler’s poems from ON A ROAD THAT KNOWS ME- at the Electric Theatre, fee-$15-adults or $8-youth/seniors, under the direction of Summer Robertson director of the St. George Dance Company.
