Tues, Sep 2, 2-4 pm DIXIE POETS at the Santa Clara Library-take Sunset Blvd west to 1099 North Lava Flow Drive by the Aquatic Center. Library sits on top of a small hill on NW corner of that intersection-SG Library had flood damage. Lesson by Karma Wasden. Then critiques-bring 8-10 copies of 1-2 poems for helpful suggestions from the group. New poets always welcome.

YOUTH POETRY CONTEST sponsored by DIXIE POETS

St. George Book Festival will feature 2014 UTSPS-UTAH POET of the YEAR Joyce Webb Kohler from Midway, Utah  to present prizes for the Youth Poetry Contest  at 10 am and then talk to our local poets on the topic of "Dancing with Your Inner Poet." Free to the public on Sat Oct 25th at the Children's Museum upstairs ballroom-elevator available at back of building on the corner of 1st South and Tabernacle.
